He was the successful Blues captain last year and is proven at that level, not only as a player but as a leader. Granted he hasn’t been as good this season but neither has DCE and he was picked for the Maroons. Injury also hasn’t helped.

Stefano is the obvious and most likely to be selected but if Jake plays a blinder on Thursday for Manly he’ll be right at the forefront of discussions in who is picked in game 2.

They’re the only 2 options.
