Women dont like the cold.

Games should be Sat or Sun day games.

Opening game should be Friday evening and as you say, double header leading into the mens 8pm game.

I think having a lot of islander girls will benefit us. It doesn't seem to make a difference in the NRL, but we have some strong looking girls

Don‘t particularly like Kent as a person, but he’s spot on in saying plenty of the NRL Admin don’t understand the game. The ARLC has always been out of balance with independent business people dominating it and not enough people who have been involved with clubs. Been saying it for years. And the ARLC does make a lot of the big decisions.

Artificial manufacturing yeah we’ve all been saying it. This is why the referees are all becoming clones of each other. This is why the game is becoming a shambles. We all hear the early calls of held, get off , no reward for great tackles. KPI’s are great when they are not artificially engineered. No rewards for legs and midriff tackles, instead gang tackles bringing more concussions, more six agains, more penalties. Just let them tackle properly and allow them the right to be a bit longer in a tackle. Good on you Kent.

I think the 3.5 sec held tackle is ridiculous as well

I agree. Sure there should be some KPI’s for referees, but that one is more than a tad ridiculous.

What has changed the game since I was involved is the dominant tackle. If you drive someone backwards with 2 or 3 in the tackle, the defenders get more time to peel off. Imagine if that was around when Gillespie and Folkes were in their prime.
 
looks like brandon Smith will be making his club debut for souths on Sunday, both lewis dodd and mamouzelos are both playing nsw cup tonight
