Official 2025 AGM

That fella charged in(as in signed up)with an agenda from his very first post, bitter sounding bloke for sure.
Absolutely, off the back of our best season in a long time, he is pushing for change . . . His agenda was as stupid,as it was obvious

Wish Karl all the best in endeavours off field.
I doubt anyone will take the risk of letting him play that would be gross negligence at best.

Agree with all the Darren Smith wraps he was an out and out STAR.
Jason also very talented and a champion dhurry bandit..smoked underwater that fella lol.

Jason could have played in a white suit and got man of the match, without getting dirty. Fantastic ball player

Sad news regarding KO. Wonder if this means we can medically retire him and use his money (and spot in squad) to go after the forward from Titans, or hopefully get Leo Thompson in a year early.

It’s both. Karl was born with the problem so genetic but it didn’t present until he was in his late teens, so could’ve been exacerbated by footy and hence an injury. No negligence, no-one knew until they knew.

Yet so many of the agenda punishers were blaming the club for a lack of due diligence…

There’s a few Kenneler’s that need to be medically retired!

It's so much better sinking 9am schooners, eating finger food for brekky/lunch and watching it live. But I agree. Would be good if it could be streamed for football club members who can't make it.
I can definately handle the 9am schooners & the tucker ( ken oath )

Sad news for KO. I hope we can do something to ease his transition away from the game. From what I've seen, we did all we could to get him back on the field. But sometimes it's just not meant to be despite a player having some talent.

I don't know if it's best to rip the band aid off and set him up with training for a new career, or try to keep him involved at some level with a role around the club. But I'm glad we're trying to deal with this without just throwing him on the scrapheap.
Very sad, but unfortunately if KO won’t play again, then when can he be medically retired at earliest? (To free up $500k++ cap space).

I think your suggestion for the club to assist training him for another career is appropriate & a good one. Given the sudden (emotional) termination to his footy career, he probably needs to be around family up north, at this stage, rather than having a job assisting at training in Sydney in some capacity. Perhaps that might come later, but future career training assistance is the best help from the Club he can get right now.

I never received my invite in the mail and had to call the club a few days ago to get confirmation on when the meeting was, I know it was the case for at least one other person too so the conspiracy theorist in me thinks they maybe wanted to pass the constitutional changes with fewer people in the room to oppose them and more proxies assigned to the board.

The more realistic side of me thinks that someone in the office made an error and missed a few letters being sent out, or that Australia post dropped the ball.

I too did not receive any correspondence.

When? Not until Oloapu agrees to be medically retired and he seems to be very stubborn in not agreeing to that. Who can blame him, his dream of playing NRL would be gone forever.

He has been receiving counselling, career advice and training from the player welfare team since he arrived. Every player does.

Did CC bring up his Year 4 Belmore story again?
“I was a mad footy head. I remember Darren Smith was three seats away from me and he was the first NRL player I’d seen in person. I remember thinking ‘I’d love to be him’.

I'll get the sauce... but the Waratahs were sniffing around before he ended up at the Roosters.

Both Itula and Fou will be named in the Flegg side this week I've been told. Off topic Woods recovery a long way off will be lucky to play a game before July.
