I reckon you are right but having two controlling 7s in the one team is a worry IMO. Cleary was playing 6 and 7. Cogger was just fresh. Got a contract out of it

Last time I flew Jetstar we managed to finally take off the 3rd time we tried to leave the gate, after a 3.5 hour delay. First time pre-flight tests produced a bunch of smoke from one of the engines, so we had to go back to gate for the fire brigade and engineers to check it out, second time we were all set to go but sudden closure of runways in Sydney sent us back to our gate. Then after we took off I lined up for the loo having waited hours, and by the time I got out was stuck behind the service trolley and spent most of the flight standing up the back. Which was honestly better than in that cramped little seat anyway...

I walked back into the city from the MCG and there was sweet fuck all banter going on pretty piss poor if you ask me

They will work it out just like QLD did with Cronk & Thurston. Cleary is a great runner of the ball so I'd have him as the 6. Also gives you the 2 best kicking games in the NRL.

If either of them are injured then Luai goes straight back in the team. Not a bad option to have all 3 in the squad. Luai would also be a better bench option than Watson as I believe Luai can cover 6, 7 & 9. Can also play centre if need be better than Hynes.

That’s because 70000 of the 90000 crowd were wearing Maroon. #shellshocked :-).
 
Maybe it’s me being paranoid about the NRL but the way the ref went in the first 15-20 mins you’d have to think the fix was on for a sellout game for game 3 it was like watching a script from wrestling
 
Cleary might be the better club half back but looks like Moses style of play suits rep footy teams.

Did Andrew Johns ever really dominate in Origin apart from that 05 come back game? I think he was mostly injured during his prime years and played a lot of nine and off the bench.
 
latrell ruled out of game 3

guess its out of turbo or best for the left center spot now

It’s crazy that nsw had a golden age of halves but we never got together a dynasty like the qlders. Freddy and Joey would have just stomped all over opponents but there’s been so many injuries!

I think what helped QLD was that they had a small pool of talent to pick from so they kept picking the same players who had already built combinations, especially the whole Broncos team.
