Lesson is if you want to have a shot at winning the comp you need a stacked roster. I wouldn’t even care if Manly got Turbo’s contract down on the cap. He is a local junior so why shouldn’t they keep him and build a strong team around him.

More teams should be bending the rules to give the Rorters a challenge.

Just over 13m (top 30). The salary cap is a little over 11m. It'll be something similar for Panther and Storm. The top teams have the best value in the cap (sign players for what they're worth or less most of the time).
