I wouldn't pick him because of how poor he was this year not because of him playing for Samoa. Mitchell & Trbojevic in the centres with Burton at 6.

Newcastle star Kalyn Ponga is on his way to Canada in a desperate attempt to save his NRL career.

The 24-year-old's immediate future is up in the air after he was concussed in the second round of the season against the Tigers - his fourth concussion in the last 10 months.

After consulting with a concussion expert, Professor Chris Levi, the club has elected to send Ponga to Vancouver, where he'll be assessed using technology that's not available in Australia.

Well considering that he's come off the bench in 5 of his 9 games in Origin no he didn't play too many minutes. Some players just can't handle Origin.

Also you don't make the rules of who plays Origin or not.

No he wasn't. He was terrible. Haas is a mile better than him. RCG is better than him. Jake Trbojevic is way better defensively than him.
