Space Cadet must come out with a preemptive strike on the refs.

QLD are going to deploy Storm WWE wrestling tactics in the ruck except a thousand times worse.

NSW just don’t get origin
Yeh, they do, just took them a bit longer to catch up to the Cane Toads, who certainly took it more seriously from the very first game when Arthur Beetson planted one on his Eels teammate in Mick Cronin.

Mick wouldn't say shit if he stood in it, but feel Arthur knew how dangerous he could be so tried to take him out early.

Not forgetting Chris Close giving Eric Grothe, a facial near the try line after a try saving tackle by Grothe, held on a tad to long for choppers liking, so gave Grothe a few back handers, but that's OK, played the ball and scored, no questions asked, or penalty given but try awarded with Grothe lying prone on the ground injured while the cane toads celebrated the try and this was before Gomersall came on the scene, he'd probably give Grothe time in the bin for head butting choppers hand.

Imagine if that happened these days.

Oh, those were the days.

A sick joke. He wasn't a referee he was a Queenslander cheat.

We got our own back with Mick Stone but nowhere near the level that the Grasshopper gave us. He crucified the Blues.

The "Agenda"/ref bias/cheating/gambling started then? Lol

Anyone ever listen to HG & Roy commentating SOO matches?

If you didn't you may not understand them, but they knew the game and had nicknames for most of the players.

One classic commentary from them was in 1995 Game 2, it's on YouTube but the best part is from the 32-minute mark, after a kick for touch by Queensland and then a scrum was formed, and all hell broke loose from the scrum.

Watch for 5 minutes as it was epic, but I only heard it on radio at the time and was killing myself laughing with their commentary of this.

Anyone interested in a laugh have a look at Roy & HG Nelson Commentary 1995 State of Origin Game 2 on YouTube.
