to be honest we need a back up 9. cook ain’t it and unsure if ZDC is the answer. Topine can fill in as a 14 but id prefer an actual 9 in the 30

He's a massive ball hog and either doesn't have the ability to setup his winger or he simply refuses to. His decision making with the ball in hand is terrible and his actions come across as selfish. He still does some things well and is only young so can improve but his actions are becoming a bit of a worry.

won’t pass the ball to his winger - actually lacks any ball playing at all, doesn’t have a team first mentality and is quite selfish, usually good for an error or two and offers nothing in the air. not to mention the stupid penalties he’s given throughout his short career. yeah granted he defended gagai and manu well, but i’d say a lot of that has to do with the players either side of him staying in position and allowing him to mark his man and defend. kiraz is miles ahead of him in terms of a center spot and at least burns has been defensively sound since coming back into the team and is able to promote the ball on to his winger to set up points

Tough player Burton is but that’s a valid point. Burton goes down all of a sudden our field postion suffers our left side suffers. Cant see us signing a halfback this off-season so hope he stays fit.

We need a prop to fill Vaughens role didn’t expect it would leave such a gap.
If we keep Thompson we have King, TPJ, Thompson and Sutton in the middle. Patolo and Pele (if signed) also good back-up for bench roles. Jackson, Topine and Morrin can play lock role. Sutton is Vaughan's replacement regardless if we like it or not.

Put it this way. If Schoupp was playing inside of Kiraz I don’t think Kiraz scores two of his tries. As a centre, you need to be able to put your winger away. Schoupp doesn’t even look up when he receives the ball, just tucks it under the arm and runs

29. Spot open for late season trading
30. Spot open for late season trading

Traded out in the off season - Thompson ($750k approx but Zero Tackle says $800k), Allan ($350k approx but Zero Tackle says $500k)

IMO These 2 contracts combined could equate to the Haas new contract.
$750k + $350k = $1.1 mill (if they are worth more then the cap space created could be more).
Even if we contribute say a total of $200k across both trades, I think $900k + some third parties will get Haas across the line in the first year, topped up in the years following.
Obviously managing the cap is far more intricate than just swapping players salaries but clearing these 2 would create lots of space.

Schoupp also appears to get the shits if the fox beats him to the ball for a try.
He needs to taught the team comes first.
