Im surprised that they have lost the last 3 games in a row because there is some talent in the team.
Three weeks until the finals and they play three teams that are in the eight.

Talent for sure .... just can't defend for long periods, concede ridiculously soft tries against better opposition.

Something i have noticed in our junior rep teams for some time.

Soft tries, poor defence ,fluctuating concentration are all part of junior rep footy - watching teams play 4 or five games in a row you get to notice players who are consistently focused game after game as opposed to those that have a good game every now and then. This year Mitchell Woods has been the standout game after game - In u19s Gabrael and Vito have seemed to be at a high standard in every game. Others have had good games but not consistent.

Not seen much of Johanssen brothers but impressed with how busy they were yesterday kept getting into position n controlling the middle

Glad you mentioned Gabrael ... definitely has a bit about him. Looks to be the best center in our junior ranks.

Philips from Matts is going great as well ... very impressive. Forming a very potent combination with Woods.

I hope he kicks on and gets a few games in Jersey flegg this year after sg ball finishes.

He has been the most outstanding performer from the half dozen young props Gus has signed, & will probably get his chance in JF especially after Matalavea-Booth's broken ankle which required an inserted rod.

Yeah Sg Ball team had a bad start and was missing a few players Damon Marshall and Matai at times.
Hoping they put it together and go on with it and after they finish a few players step up to Flegg.
