3. Referee makes decision that player B has possession of ball.

Yup in an ideal world that's how it works but in reality there are alot of strip situations where the original ball carrier doesn't relinquish the ball and has maintained contact with the ball the entire time and it's still awarded to the other team. But you already know that and chose to pretend that the ruling is always upheld in black and white to confirm your original stance.
Like I said originally agree to fucking disagree champ.
Imo Walsh had already dislodged the ball somewhat away from Warbricks grasp and had more contact with the ball than Warbrick by the time Ezra layed a hand on him

Yeh, I only saw highlights of the game but even from that, the officiating has become an embarrassment to this once great game.

This might be an all-time low if this is the standard going forward. How Farnworth got 10 in the bin when the Storm player, should've got an Oscar for diving and neither had any chance of getting to that kick. That was bad enough.

Either the ref lost total control of the game, or he decided to even things up with another howler by sin binning a Broncos player for a hip-drop tackle that wasn't anything like a hip-drop tackle.

Yet we have Abdo and V'Landys living it up overseas, trying to gain more gambling dollars on the NRL in Vegas, while NRL fans cop this crap.

And to top it off Graeme Annesley has said they are not going to change and are going to clamp down on these illegal tackles.

That's OK if they are a genuine hip-drop tackle but NO ONE knows what one is as many that have been deemed hdt's are just ordinary tackles.

At this rate we'll have Reserve Graders making up the bulk of First Grade and fans will turn away from watching this Shit!
