Should we be making an offer to Mitch Kenny from the Panthers to play hooker in 2022, he is off contract at the end of the year, and the Panthers haven't missed a beat whilst he has been filling in.

Why not for 2021, we need a true hooker most clubs have 3, we have none.

Assuming your referring to Kenny? i'm not sure he is the guy anyway but your thinking PENRITH would release him to us straight away yeh?

Yes, we need to do something about that position. Kenny fits a workable bill

I reckon you could put boots and socks on a turd and it would look good on that panthers team

Katoa was from their system wasnt he? He was ok for them, absolute shit house for us.
Katoa was garbage when he played for them, there's a reason Katoa slipped DOWN the pecking order for Penrith

Mitch Kenny is not the answer, we need an elite class or reputable #9 at a minimum... exception to the rule is Simpkin from the Tigers who looks the goods.
No one is saying he's the answer. There are only a minimal amount of top class hookers, what do we do if we can't get them? Do we rely on JMK and Katoa for another 3 years? Or would we at least have someone like Kenny as a backup option if we can't get a top class hooker?

The cheese is staying in Melbourne. Clark won’t get released from super league. The best options available would be seggy, liddle and Deitz. All would be relatively cheap and the club can then focus on strengthening other areas

We should recruit the chooks doctor at all costs this week. we can then medically retire at least half our squad this year.
Apparently they won't be getting dispensation though.. not that they need it..

These are the best options available or potentially available and roughly what they'd cost..

Clark - 500-600k
Kenny - 350k
Starling - 350-400k
Simpkin - 350k

Clark is the best player now but the Titans and maybe now Roosters would want him and will he actually leave Warrington?

Kenny is off contract and they have Api for a few more years so he'll look elsewhere. I was never a fan of his but he's better this season but then again Lichaa might look okay in that team.. So buyer beware..

Starling and Simpkin have a lot of upside and can't get a run. I'd be happy to make a play for either of those.
