I think the NRL would prefer Rabbitohs vs Eels/Cowboys in the GF.

Rabbitohs have a bigger fan base than the Panthers & would make the GF a 50/50 game which would get more people watching. Cowboys means more QLD watching on tv. Eels for their story & fans.

Panthers would be the 4th choice I think.

I think the battle of the west would be desirable for ratings.

Why would QLD give a shit about the battle of the west? Most of the supporters of the other clubs would rather watch the Cowboys in the GF over the Eels.

I'm going for Cowboy but still think Eel are the only team that can beat Panther. Anyway as long as Panther don't win I'll be happy.

Cause it promises to be great game between fierce rivals played in rugby leagues heartland.

Massive for the NRL.

Media will lap it up.

Grand finals with interstate teams lack the atmosphere that two Sydney rivals bring to the table in my view.
