If Remis Smith doesn't want to play wing...then he can fuck off. We can't waste time on these I have a dream players, DWZ and Remis belong on the wing and should adopt a what's best for the team mentality and cop it sweet imo
He is a better winger then centre Remis and dwz needs to get a hell of lot better under the high ball or he can go too

The best thing with DWZ is that he seems to have a good attitude and is still very young. But despite what he says I still think he got the shits because the riff wouldn't play him at fullback... Will he accept being moved back to the wing of that ever occurs ? These are things the club needs to address imo as it heavily affects our recruitment going forward.

You'd think so but he's had this problem for multiple years. Even when he was at Panthers. It's probably something mentally he has to get over. The other issue is his ball playing ability. Almost all of the top fullbacks ball play and play like second five-eighths.

everyone i have gone through the list of players my friend provided me and i believe their is a championship winning team amongst this group. though we need to be strategic in who we sign and look at the accurate value of players. i have gathered a group of players who no-one would want from that list, or who the rest of the nrl undervalue, who i believe can give us a championship

Seriously though how are those names, players that no one else would want? Or are undervalued?..

Some of those players are proper guns..

And the real guns will be retained by their clubs. The leftovers all shoot blanks.

They all can't retain everyone, there are always players who want to be paid more than their club has Cap space. Some of them actually deserve it. Plus of course there are other reasons for players changing clubs, for example who in their right mind would have though Cronk would leave Melbourne, not me that's for sure (some severe pussey whipping at work there). And Frizell leaving StGeorge, I thought he was a one club man for sure, but a crap coach will be shown up eventually.

We need to set our sights for top eight first. That should be achievable for 2021 assuming we're able to recruit the right players. We're a bottom four team at the moment, we're not going to go to contenders in one year. Anything is possible but we need to have realistic expectations. If everything goes right, another one to two key signings for 2022 might push us into the top four. That's the goal at least but we need to reevaluate at the end of 2021.
And who are the 2 key signings we need....omg we need a major overhaul

It depends where we recruit for 2021 (what's available, what we're actually able to get). For 2022 tho I see us needing another prop as I think Napa should be moved to the bench and I don't think Thompson and Napa will be the best combo going around. I think you need a workhorse, e.g. Flegler, paired up with Thompson.

I'm actually OK with our prop rotation for 2021, Thompson, Napa, To'Omaga, Tolman and Ogden (if he can get his training and attitude in line). Between them they have good mixture of skills, especially with Thompson added, he brings variety that we have previously been short of.

There are other areas where we are far more lacking.

I agree with 2021 because we have other areas that we need to strengthen much more.

I want us to go with this.
8. Flegler (have to wait until after 2021)
10. Welch (worth the risk imo)
13. Thompson
15. Napa (move him on if doesn't live up to his $)
16. To'Omaga

Love Welch too just ACL after ACL. 2022 will be determining whether to move Napa on or re-sign him on a reduced deal. Thompson in theory should be dangerous with the ball in the middle with his speed and try scoring ability. Will be a breath of fresh air from what we've been used to with Tolman. I think Flegler (or even Welch, as a player) and Thompson would be a perfect prop combination.

Left field but could Thompson potentially play on an edge?

I reckon he could and would do it very well. But I think one of his biggest assets is his support play, so personally I dunno if I'd want to slot him on an edge. Hed be a more athletic Frizzell if he were to go there
