Sutton was a decisive factor but Fittler being so poor cost NSW the series. Game 1 was an absolute disgrace in terms of selection and defensive structures.

NSW weren't good enough and only played for about 20 minutes, whereas QLD played for about 60 minutes. It still doesn't excuse the shit refereeing tho. It's the worst I've seen and should be close to sackable...

100% Queensland were the better team, we were shit. But the ref gave them a leg up all night. The JAC incident should have been a penalty try, and Grant should have been sin binned for holding ont the leg for 10 mins.

100% penalty try for JAC. The video ref have himself away as not understanding penalty tries. If a kick downfield turns the defence, and the attacking winger steals a yard, gets say ankle tapped... the distance to the try line didn't matter. The video ref said it was too far from the try line. It's not relevant

Yes, there were some dodgy calls. Queensland got away with plenty of shenanigans and Kafusi should have been binned. You can’t award a penalty try 10m out, no matter how likely a player was to score.

At the end of the day, the blues got dominated up the middle all night and were lucky Queensland botched a few. Injuries to Tedesco and Walker hurt them, but at the end of the day, they lost it in the middle and didn’t deserve to win that.

You’ve gotta laugh at the blues. A bunch of cocky flogs. On the bright side, Elliott will debut next year and single handedly lead the blues back to glory. Spare a thought for Jake Turnip who just played his last origin game tonight.
