Many people on this forum hate the Sutton Brothers and with good reason I might add. He gave South's plenty of leg ups last night but it was beyond belief how Cartwright was not sent to the sin bin last night for an obvious and blatant professional foul on Crichton late in the 1st half.

It should cost Sutton a Grand Final appointment but as we know he is a protected species with his brother the head of referees. Yes I know appointments are made by a panel but Bernard will have a strong say and blood is thicker than water.

While I am no big fan of Ashley Klein he was the better performer of the two games and in a fair world he should get the gig.

But is the NRL a fair world?
