Hayman didnt set world on fire in 20s last year. Not sure whether he even played a game, stuck at sydney shield with moorebank. My man tells me McDonnell has recruited well and our 20s are big and fit and they expect big things. McDonnell does have a good record with 20s, when he was at WT they were top 4 most years. Does anyone know who is coaching the 20s?? I would vote for any director who promised to keep all 3 grades of players up to date on our website!!!!
Kytak Chan
Blake Clayton
Elie El-Zakhem
Jack Gordon
Morgan Harper
Zac Hetherington
Kayne Kalache
Tui Katoa
Frank Kuresa
Kiko Manu
Alvin Maungaati
Giordan Patea
Javvier Pitovao
Samuel Radovu
Zac Saddler
Dalton Smith
Lachlan Talau
Reuben Taylor
Spike Teio
Cameron Torpy
Brandon Wakeham
Josh Wilkinson
Jacob Winterstein

That’s a rough list of who we have in the Flegg squad at the moment. Not sure who the coach is this year.

Any feedback on how the boys went today? Cheers.
I saw the first half - they were dominating but it was a slow game. Wakeham's kicking and passing was impressive. Dogs No 13 and 3 went well. It was only my second time at AKR - not the best place to watch a game of footy - no shade, no seats, long way from the playing field and no elevation unless you want to stand 100 metres behind the goal post.

Thanks mate, I'm in NZ so hard to support the young guys coming through. Cheers

TRIAL: JERSEY FLEGG: WON 32-24 OVER MOUNTIES
Both teams were physical in this clash at Aubrey Keech Reserve. Brandon Wakeham only played 30 minutes but guided the team around the park well and had two try assists in his time on the field. Other strong performers were Giordan Patea, Sam Radovu and hooker Reuben Taylor who was very solid defensively and always dangerous out of dummy half. Tui Katoa and Frank Kuresa made effective yardage gains from off their wing and both scored tries on the day. Defensively, the Bulldogs still have some work to do, but the effort from the whole group has been extraordinary and can’t be faulted.

MATCH REPORT (TRIAL VS PANTHERS)
Two unanswered tries in the second half have seen the Canterbury Bulldogs prevail over the Penrith Panthers in their Jersey Flegg trial match at Belmore on Saturday.

The two sides traded blows in the first 40 minutes, going to the halftime break locked at 12-all, but consecutive four-pointers to Tan Sakisi in the 60th minute and Zac Hetherington in the 70th minute got the Bulldogs the win.

Canterbury Bulldogs 24 (Dalton Smith, Sua Aiiloilo, Tan Sakisi, Zac Hetherington tries; Morgan Harper 2, Reuben Taylor 2 goals) defeated Penrith Panthers 12 at Belmore Sports Ground.
