Just shows how poor our recruitment has been over the past few years. Only Lichaa in the 38 man squad. That's the big difference. We haven't had the cattle coming through who could challenge the top grade squad. As someone said on radio this morning event the rorters had 4 or 5 kids playing last year in FG.

Wouldnt have mattered if we had 20 great juniors coming through, Des wouldnt have used them.

Yes I think it will. Just the fact that he was out there at the fans training day while 50+ kids were going through their paces showed to them at least that he gives a damn. The other bloke wouldn't have gone near a day like that. That's the problem for a lot of people in authority - they just don't understand that doing things right is not the only requirement, you have to be seen to be doing things right as well and that means you need to be at things like this (in the case of a FG coach).
