i still like the NZ/AUS thing, it makes sense because OFC currently receive 0.5 world cup qualification spots, why not host 0.5 of a world cup too?

like i said they would kill 2 birds with 1 stone, the world cup on the australian continent and an OFC world cup

Sydney (new stadium), Brisbane (Suncorp), Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Canberra, Newcastle and maybe Gold Coast or Nth Queensland location
Australian east coast & NZ would work but you would have to forget Perth. A flight from Perth to NZ would take all day & players would suffer jet lag.

that can be managed so that there is no chance of a perth to nz trip

The proposed stadiums in Australia's bid were absolutely atrocious. The only stadiums that actually resembeled a football stadium was suncorp and a new proposed stadium in Perth.

The stadiums in Qatar will be mind-blowing. As mentioned, Money (oil) talks, bullshit walks.

FIFA has stated they want to expand into India, and what FIFA wants, FIFA gets.

India is ranked 154 now and so what? You think FIFA would allow a host nation to get pumped during the group stages?

USA was ranked outside the top 100 when they hosted USA 94, Qatar is currently ranked 100, South Africa were nowhere in the rankings 2010.

Europe, North & South America as well as FIFA do not want the WC in Australia due to the distance and costs.

Cant argue with your post and WC hosting schedule.
However a wanker named Blatter who runs FIFA wants to send a WC to Mars or Jupter this century . lol

The Intergalactic Cup . Not sure we will be alive to see E.T lift the cup
After Blatter, Platini steps in

How would they help? Get Ben Barba to play? Get Shane Hayne to ref the game?

FIFA allowed Germany to pump Brazil in their own backyard

The stadiums in Qatar may be mind blowing, but that's if the players don't die due to the extreme heat or take drink breaks every 5 mins ruining the flow of the game

the only reason qatar got it was bribe money, the country is an oven and the stadiums will be built for no other reason by slaves who will die from heat exhaustion or suicide because they cant go home they havent got paid and its too hot to work

seriously if they host it in qatar fifa will need a safe host or a series of safe hosts next

Won't really help when it's constantly above 40 degrees and it's not much cooler at night

Many of the European teams struggled with the heat in Brazil, can't imagine them backing up from matches in Qatar

Just FYI , 8 stadiums built In Qatar for 2022 worldcup are centrally air conditioned and relocatable , as the stadiums will be sent to third world countries after the worldcup.

Qatar will end up spending 200 billion dollars on 2022 worldcup. more than enough to end world poverty!

Bribed or Not I am looking forward to Qatar.

They have built a 22.5 sq km ski ramp resort in the middle of desert....you think they will struggle to keep stadiums cool?

they will be open roofed and air conditioned
As dumb as that sounds its possible. Cold air sinks much like a deep freezer for frozen goods in the supermarket. Still not very efficient without a lid.

fifa will need to use indian referees and allow the indian team to field 4 goalkeepers and 25 players to keep them competitive
