This was the last time the Bulldogs finished a season by not scoring more than 28 points in any game that year.

Our top score so far this year is a 27, so unless things pick up we might be heading to the record books again.

And they were three point tries back then

I wasn’t even floating in my dads sacks in 1978

You know your stuff! 1979 was a good year though - made the gf under Ted Glossop.

What’s the stats for amount of losses 8 points or less in a season? Fk even if we jagged 4 close wins we would be in the 8
Not sure ... Not an easy stat to figure out either without working out the margin of every game we've played working backwards historically.

This stat was from looking at Rugby League Project and our previous seasons working backwards. Every season where we scored more than 27 points in a game (during that season), I'd jump back another year. Till eventually I hit 1978 where the biggest score was a 26 point win.

It proves how bad our attack is... that every single seaosn since 1978 we have at least scored more than 28 points in a game.
Taking into account that a converted try back in 1978 was worth 5 points it just makes this year seem just that much worse.
