Bulldogs recruit John Asiata’s time at the club could be over before it begins with the forward reportedly refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Asiata reportedly told club management that he’d rather work in construction than take the vaccine to extend his 139-game NRL career.

The NRL has not mandated the vaccine but players won’t be able to compete in Victoria and Queensland due to stadium bans for unvaccinated people.

There are still 15 players around the competition holding out on being double jabbed, according to News Corp.
That includes some on massive salaries, like the Cowboys’ Jason Taumalolo ($1 million) Storm’s Nelson-Asofa Solomona ($675,000) and Raiders’ Josh Papalii ($660,000).

The others in the report are Api Koroisau, Joseph Tapine, Api Koroisau, Dylan Walker and Brian Kelly, plus unnamed players from the Warriors, Roosters, Dragons, Tigers and Sharks.

However, Cowboys officials have been told second-hand that Taumalolo has agreed to a vaccination and be ready for off-season training.

Do you need to be vaccinated to enter any construction site?

Notwithstanding he'd probably need to be vaccinated to get on a construction site - he would likely work one day and realise its much easier being an NRL player.

To think people have given their lives in wars to ensure we could live in a free society. They would be crying now.

So why wasn't the big name Solomona and Melbourne Storm the headline. Why is it the Bulldogs in the headline?

A free society still has to have rules. He's free to take a job in construction, and he's free to get vaccinated and play for the Dogs.
No-one is allowed to walk around the streets naked, so we are not "free" to do what we want in the way the "cry freedom" mob want to imagine the world.

Jokes on him because you need to be vaxxed to work in construction.

I wonder if he’ll decide to just throw away the architect’s plans because he saw a video warning against the dangers of architecture on YouTube, Fam. Wouldn’t want him building my house. Namaste

LOL WTF? who's to say lot of those you're talking off wouldn't be anti vax ? I think it's BS that you'd even mention those who have fought for this country, who are you to speak on their behalf.
