Totally agree. 150 Minimum lead. These guys aren't used to bowling in Brisbane conditions. I thought their bowling attack was awesome in the first innings in Perth, but since then, they've mostly been wayward and ineffective.

Not a bad lead on day 2. I think 120 lead is the minimum target. Starc might come in and slog a 30 or 40. Smith wicket was a bit out of character for him. Anyhow, a lead of 150 would put us in a pretty strong position. I'm hoping Starc comes in tomorrow and smashes a quick 30 or 40.

FMD, that's one of the worst drop catches I've seen for a while. That must be the 3rd or 4th dropped catch for the day.

Surely you first get the lead, then with wickets in hand, you can start to be a bit looser with your shots and up the run rate.

Walsh vs Paps is an interesting one. Could go either way depending on how things pan out on the day. The rest I pretty much agree with.

The only positive I can think of is that it gives me a somewhat legit reason to get plastered on a Sunday night. The wife also hates both sides (especially the Broncos), so she's totally onboard with this line of thinking as well.

Was talking to some old school mates today about how close to death we came each day in the 80's playing Red Rover and Kill the Man with the Ball. Daily lunchtime violence at school :D

My 2 cents from being at today's game. He had a mixed bag. Had a few nice touches but attacking in their 20, he didn't offer much. Had a lot of sideways play about him. Defended pretty well. His teammates made some unforced errors which cost them in the end.

I still can't believe that try by Hughes. With a broken arm, he fended off the Sharks defenders and ran straight through them. Game over for the Sharkies then and there.
