Cochrane was poor in Flegg this week - im assuming Morrin n Mazzone will be added to the nsw cup team

Mazzone didnt play flegg Saturday - so maybe back into reggies. Given the lack of centres with speed maybe Sua could be tried there n smith back to back row (AJ jones played Flegg) - Smith is a toiler back row - lack of speed was found out against Dragons - Hayes n Sitili would be better options...

Flegg were disappointing against storm. Lots of effort players but based on two games IV seen are lacking speed across the park. Conti offers a bit (injured second half I think ) but no one else really offers anything dynamic. Hopefully some who haven't played yet have it.

IMO Josh Jackson is a fg coach in waiting - re pool of coach talent - tend to agree - i believe there is a lot of potential fg players who are not able to get the training n development needed to turn the potential into actuality - apart from the training n coaching need pathway programs n...

Hopefully, given sgball arent playing - Oliva Smith (and maybe Alatini) gets a run in Flegg this weekend. Smith has been consistently good this year.

Obviously if you get there earlier parking closer will be easier - im not going but when iv been at games with big crowds getting out of the area is more an issue than parking - but i always have arrived early n watched all games.

The Harry Hayes covering tackle on Val Holmes nearing half time was a highlight imo - didnt get mentioned - but a significant effort play. Curran's issue is his ball handling - has some shockers - cant fault the effort. I believe Mahoney should be the forward under pressure.

Mahoney is putting pressure on himself - he ended last season with underwhelming performances and started the year being run over and giving up possession - no doubt Mahoney has ability but he is being effectively targeted with n without the ball.

Has played a few games in NSW Cup - has scored more tries than games - his yardage carries were a worry but he was ok with them on weekend - quick outside backs have a bit more time to make decisions when defending and can recover better when a poor decision has been made.

IMO Mazzone was very good.

IMO In fg i think Mahoney n Tracey will be under pressure if the club can find a 1 and 9 soon - both have issues that others clubs target - neither are going to get quicker and have probably reached their ceiling. IMO in Flegg H Wilson is just slow and gets beaten with speed, Afualo does teh...

Yes i am aware of that - coming off the bench in sgball despite allegedly he was signed to a top 30 contract - just saying that in the context of the rumour - i didnt see either brother listed in any grade this weekend.

I didn't see either Seve brother listed in roosters team this week. ( Team lists can be unreliable though)

Im of the opinion he was injured midway through first half - but wouldnt leave the field.

Mazzone was very good. Defensive reads excellent and his chases down showed he has the attitude as well as the speed. If he doesn't play fg at dogs, some club will sign him.

Crichton was a passenger after about 30 minutes. Seemed more than cramps.

Mazzone was excellent. Great reads in defence, and his chases on Ramsay n Sloan etc were impressive. Has he played any fullback? Alot were disappointing. Cochrane n O'Neill struggled.

His first 15minutes were very good his last 15 minutes were diabolical

I agree - teams have been losing attacking shape really quickly and fall back into a very chaotic brand of footy - plenty of time to fix - Newcastle imo completely dominated Tigers but couldnt finish off - also there "long kicking" game gifted the tigers easy metres.

Iv read the crowd was 31000 according to the stadium n 45000 according to the nrl. Until ythe nrl is completely transparent about the financials hard to determine if a net positive. The media who get a week in vegas on the purse of their employers would obviously talk it up - iv been to vegas...

I believe NSW Cup V Dragons will be on Fox on Saturday 3.05pm. HM SGBall both kicking off at saturday at 10.00am and Flegg at 11.00am. Busy couple of hours

Hope he continues with the " not a charity" attitude and ensures it applies to coaches. Need the best coaches not just ex players. I do think Josh Jackson has done a good job.

Everything went the HM sides way in the second half, plenty of opportunities but still couldnt get a win - they seem to try hard BUT not much works.

Seems to be, also some games have commentary others don't. The vision where they have elevated camera is pretty good, they also put up re play videos of tries pretty quick, which also include the two or three lead up play the balls.

The video quality seems to vary from ground to ground - positioning of camera at Henson Park is poor very little elevation, not positioned midfield and a long distance to the field.

Hopefully he gets some ball aprt from in yardage run s - jun reps across the comp are becoming not much more than a series of one out runs n a kick - slow passing forwards trying to do a Yeo getting in the way of halves n outside backs - disappointing trend - dont be a centre!

There were periods of the game where the Broncos defence sat back n waited unfortunately our spine failed to take advantage. Sexton ran a few times but lacked the acceleration n support. Imo Burton Tracey n Mahoney were very poor. Has Crichton played fullback? Mann may as well play five eight...

Does NSW have a coach and if so do they instruct players to go the tonk, hit in the air and not worry about getting out as long as the run rate is good - 4 day cricket is different to 20 20!

Any expert physios on here - i now there are plenty of neuroscientists, psychiatrists, geo scientists, rocket scientists n assorted other experts in any given field or many fields - would it be a nerve injury? Anything requiring surgery or just rest surely would have been sorted months ago.

Whilst i enjoyed the Dogs performance yesterday trial form is a tainted with the "Brad Deitz" (insert name of any trial star who disappeared) aura.

Any one see Declan Casey for souths, a number of poor defensive reads and caps it off with a brilliant try set up.

Sua has been rocks n diamonds in Jun grades. Does some great things, was most impressed with yardage carries, doesn't just run it straight gets extra carry with footwork.

They are so small compared to other teams BUT losing to Balmain at this level is disappointing

Dog over Warriors 42 22 - Conti was very good - Callaghan less mistakes this week n two tries, second an individual effort - worth watching the Callaghan tries - tried to add the clips but i failed miserably - they will be on the nswrl site in next few days

IMO If he is not having to make decisions with n without the ball he can be very good - hard to tackle, can be damaging when tackling and good in the air.
