We know Hazem is/was a great kicker. Do we know he can also coach it?
We know Halligan is/was a great kicker...AND we know he can also coach it.
Get Halligan in on retainer. Might as well get the original "Master".
Halligan is utilised whenever he is needed.

Long after everyone has stopped training Burton is practising his kicking.

Always a Bulldog

I have no doubt. I don't think anyone suggested he isn't working hard enough.
And, I would expect absolutely nothing less from a first-choice kicker.
He showed noticeable improvement last year. Gone away a bit this year.

Yes, needed: that's probably when you're shooting 60's and not the 80+ you need for first grade.
The mental side of kicking is probably as important as the technical side. Might be just a chat on the phone that's needed.

He needs to up the training ante from the left side, fills me with zero confidence each week from that side.

True, we don't know.

If anything his input can't make it worse to be fair, I'm sure he could give him advice at the very least. Kicking conversions isn't easy and it comes with pressure, both Hazem and Halligan have dealt with it at the worst of times and could give Burton tips on how to deal with it.

Pressure causes mistakes, over come it and it can only help right?

Halligan is a perfectionist, he spots the 0.01% things, miniscule habits that kickers get into, often without even knowing that they are doing it. He corrects that, works with the kickers on 100% repeatability, doing precisely the same thing every time. Halligan believes that 100% accuracy is possible and pushes players to achieve that.

Always a Bulldog

He can’t kick from the left side the other side is perfect but overall we played well and scared these teams but we had opportunities like the first try shouldn’t of even happened and the second they got lucky I don’t know why held wasn’t the call but we can hold our heads right up

we will beat Newcastle at home lock up ponga and we’re fine then we have the bye round that puts us in the 8

Could do worse than have Taffe kick on the left side and Burton on the right although would rather Crighton just kick he's the best one

They were tough kicks but he seems to struggle with pressure kicks ever since he started goal Kicking with us. It's like he panics, I think critta would of slotted one of those 2 misses
