Yeh im not sure how we score enough points to win with mostly hitups. If hes trying to get the defence right before working on attack we may have a longer wait for success as thats bad also. Not sure how averaging 25.5 against is good defence this year so far

Very few halves do, probably the only ones that do are Bennett, Bellamy and Cleary coached teams. Is it a wonder why those are the best 3 coaches in the game? I read a book by Bellamy and he spoke about how he learnt early on from Bennett how important it was to teach halves to throw the ball in front of players so they run onto it. It is so simple yet most coaches don't do it

Get along to a training session and you will see it drilled many, many times. Just because they get taught it doesn't mean that they carry it into games when under pressure, especially when dealing with with physical and mental fatigue.

Well it's not being coached properly then because there are only 3 coaches that do it well and actually make it stick. Drop halves that don't do it, pretty simple i'd have thought!

The improvement in JMK in that area is astounding.

Be nice to see some decoy runners running decent well timed lines as well.

Defence can read oir plays with out to much hassle.

Halves who can engage the line along with players who can instinctively run decent lines would make all the difference.

It was summed up beautifully when someone said "They should stop reading their scrapbooks and play footy".
