Would rather we keep ock than waddles. Waddle never bends the line. Still prone to errors and giving away penalties.

In the ever-evolving world of rugby league, tales of player transformations often captivate the imagination. One such story is that of Jayden Okunbor, now known affectionately as "The Ock," a Bulldogs player who has undergone a remarkable transition from winger to a forceful forward. With a newfound position on the bench, The Ock has established himself as a valuable asset, proving that with dedication and perseverance, players can reinvent themselves and achieve greatness.

The Ock's journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Initially making his mark as a winger, Okunbor faced challenges and made mistakes, both on and off the field. However, what sets him apart is his ability to learn from those experiences and channel his energy into self-improvement.

In recent games, The Ock has truly come into his own as a forward, specifically in the back row and through the middle. His performance statistics speak volumes about his impact on the field. Over the last two games, he has averaged an impressive 53 minutes of playing time, showcasing his stamina and durability. With two well-earned tries, one of which a match winner, and two electrifying line breaks, The Ock has demonstrated his skill and ability to exploit gaps in the opposition's defense. Additionally, his nine tackle breaks highlight his strength and agility, making him a difficult player to bring down.

What makes The Ock's contribution even more impressive is his post-contact meters, averaging nearly 20 per game. This demonstrates his determination and willingness to drive through defenders, gaining crucial extra ground for his team.

Furthermore, his two offloads display his excellent ball-handling skills and his ability to create opportunities for his teammates.

Defensively, The Ock has proven to be a solid asset. With an average of 23 tackles in his last game, and only 1 miss across both, he consistently puts his body on the line, showing his commitment to team defense. Additionally, his average of over 60 meters run per game illustrates his involvement and work rate throughout the match.

The transformation of Jayden Okunbor, once a winger prone to mistakes, into a formidable forward, is a testament to his resilience and hard work.

The Ock's dedication to improving himself and embracing a new role within the Bulldogs' lineup has not gone unnoticed. His recent performances have been nothing short of impressive, capturing the attention of fans and critics alike.
Dynamic forward, pigs arse, shouldn't be re-signed sorry but he's had his chance in how many seasons to prove he's a capable first grader he is only in fg because of all of our injuries, the dog's have to stop signing average players and he's an average player even as a back up, guaranteed his manager paid this sports writer to talk him up as his contract expires this season, shorely Gus wouldn't re-sign this dud jmo.

In my opinion Cameron Ciraldo has got it right with Jayden. Good at the high ball can defend front on and drive if motivated. Turning and chasing has been a difficult task for him. Positional play on the wing was a major issue over the years as well. In the middle however he is faster than most, Burtons boot may come in handy with kicks around the middle and goal posts area.Does not have to worry about position play defending in the centre with help from both sides via team mates.

It’s a good article (a little over cooked) but, credit where credit is due, he’s earned his place back in the 17 and he can become a consistently good forward for us. Good to see him score the winning try vs Titans.

Biggest bagger of the bloke on here for the last couple seasons (Justified) however under the circumstances of late he has done very well in the forward pack. He definitely is not a starter and at best (If injuries make it so) on the bench to go against tired forwards. Credit to him tbh, he's stuck in there and probs done enough to get another contract somewhere else as a depth forward if it goes that way.
