A bit of an impulse buy. Trent Barrett is the most random coach to take over pay imo.

But far out something has to change at the club. The club is going backwards. Something is not right. Players are not developing and dean hasn’t managed to buy anyone. Just announce some news already. The club needs to head in a new direction. The dean experiment is over

The Barrett thing is either absolute bs being pushed by the media or the club doesn't want to spend money and he's the next cheapest option.

Dean will get a job elsewhere pretty quick. He's obviously a good defensive coach and you cant deny he gets the players up for the game... albeit talentless players.

I was hoping it would happen now otherwise we have no hope for change this year. Ricky Stuart will give Pay back his old job as his assistant next year. Pay was treated badly and our board deserve to pay for that but he was a below average coach

That would be my guess too
