Lynn Anderson using Dean Pay

dean pay is copping what should be directed at lynn anderson and the board
dean is our coach and he is the face of the team
i have watched the replay of last nights game, paying attention to dean pay every time they showed him in the coaches box

i openly admit i am not a fan of dean pay the coach, but do acknowledge he was and is classed as a bulldog great when a player
last night dean looked genuinely buggered, drained stressed and frustrated
he has not managed to coach much of anything into the team he has
the team its self is well below the standard of past bulldogs teams

now to lynn anderson and the board
every week every game the person who cops the barrage of abuse is dean pay,
why has the board under lynns leadership not recruited anyone other than thompson
why has this war chest not been opened up
why has recruitment been so poor
why are we bottom of the ladder
why are we now considered a no go to club

the buck stops with the person in charge that's lynn anderson, she is allowing dean pay to cop all the shit week in week out when this is actually all hers and the boards doing, they are the ones in charge

lynn anderson in charge is as bigger problem as the team and the coach, she must go

Our club is not a attractive location for anyone. We were always successful when we had our own stocks of juniors and bought in the odd player here and there, we have never been a club that has ever bought a superstar player from another club. You can thank Greenberg for neglecting our junior system and pissing it all away. Add to that thank des for turfing out mullholland arguably the best talent scout in the business for his mate crusher. I’m not defending this board, they most likely just as shit, but these are the facts

After 3 yrs we are still searching for combinations

We have the worse go forward for a reason , our starting forwards are soft and have no punch and our second rowers are plodders that offer nothing

Since Anderson’s take over the club we have regressed at an alarming rate .. you can blame the previous boards so much but we have been able to recruit players during this time and no matter who you point the fingers to it’s been appalling all round ..

Changing the coach is a start but the whole clubs needs a clean out ..

It’s pathetic how we have settled on being a bottom 4 club ..

The club never stood for this , no matter how bad we were it only took us a year or 2 to be a major contender and atm we’re mid table Canterbury cup standard .

Couldnt agree more the bloke looks defeated over it buggered we dont know how much support he is getting from the board with recruits etc when they sack him and he is paid out I would like to hear his version of events cause im sure they have gagged and tied, the anderson wanted a puppet coach. We all hell bent on recruiting a super coach but i cant see that happening while the andersons in power. Phil gould as a advisor will never happen with andersons on the board we cant attract players or a sponsor we have regressed as a team as a organisation. The board seem more interested in getting money to upgrade belmore focus on the football department

The biggest problem is...It's jobs for the Royal family !
The Andersons allowed this to happen, they pushed for their son Ben to be the care taker coach from early 2019.
It was faced with rejections then the 1 year extension come about !!!
Sometimes the long term solution is the best solution, they should have at least kept the Morris brothers and Klemmer by using the back-ended payments system instead of demolishing the team.
I am dumbfounded ...Why did they buy Katoa a fourth string hooker at Penrith ???
People responsible for failing to rebuild the team must face the music.
They are employed as caretakers of OUR CLUB...Are they ???

You can't feel sorry for Pay. He knew the job that he took was not going to be easy. You expect good coaches to rise to the occasion and get things done. At the absolute least, you get the best out of what you got. People in the media bagging out roster like we have a bunch of reserve graders. Sure it isn't anywhere near the best roster - but its a good first grade team when you have players like Hoppa, DWZ, Napa, Jackson, Foran - should be a little better than dead last with only one win lol.

Pay is just out of his depth. Good coaches keep the drama in the front offices away from the team. And even then, if he was a coach getting results - there would be no pressure on him anyway. So he is the root cause of all this.

Lynne Anderson has in fact sacked a shit load of people at the Football club and by proxy also a few from the Leagues club.
There has been zero "consensus" with the new board.
So guarantee they will keep Pay in the job until such time a change is in THEIR interest.
