Bellamy isn’t coming to this sack of shit club unless we paying him 3mill plus a season. And Gould hasn’t coached in 200 years
No shit.. and I was referring to Gould as Coaching director or football manager if this lot can’t bring themselves to move Dean on.

btw dwz turned the ball over starting our second set, so that's what pay meant by we came out and got into an arm wrestle, completing a set then defending ok for a set

he defended the performance by praising that we completed a set then defended ok for a set, sickening how low his standards are

lynn anderson and the board are just using dean pay allowing him to cop the weekly floggings from every direction and taking the heat of them.

im not a dean pay fan dont believe hes a suitable coach, former great canterbury player who gave a lot to the club, now as a coach its a far different story to his playing days, while he dont have a lot to work with, he hasn't taught the players the basics of valuing the ball and proper attack or defensive drills.

put that aside the buck stops with the board, they have done nothing to help this season or next season, pay is copping so much shit most of is due to a board and chairman that have failed dismally in their positions

we have the worst performing board in the clubs 85 year history

lynn anderson has to take the blame squarely on her shoulders for allowing pay to be the scapegoat week after week and for the position in which the club finds its self in

Agree Anderson’s, Pay, Hill have to be the worst combination in Bulldogs history. Whoever replaces them will look like a genius.

I agree with everything you said except he’s a Parramatta legend “great” not a Bulldogs great.

I was told they are going to re-sign him for a year and if he fails again next year they will punt him because 6 coaches are off contract in 2021.
Can they not give another option a crack in 2021 if they are waiting for off contract coaches? Kevin Walters, Craig Fitzgibbon or Walker Bros wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world...

Craig Fitzgibbon would be good if he doesn't let Uncle Nick hamstring him. Lam, Butcher and a few other guys who can't get a regular start could follow him

Under-siege Canterbury coach Dean Pay has implored the Bulldogs board to come out and speak publicly about his future in order to ease ongoing speculation.

Pay is off contract this year and his job is the source of constant commentary in the rugby league rumour mill, especially given the team is in desperately bad form.

But the silence out of Belmore has been deafening as club executives and the board refuse to shed any light on the coaching position.

There’s been numerous reports Canterbury is chasing the likes of Craig Bellamy, Eddie Jones, and Wayne Bennett to take the reins and replace Pay at year’s end.
Following Saturday’s 26-8 loss to Brisbane, Pay was asked if he would like the club to come out and address his future.

“That’s up to them. It would be useful for everyone,” he said.

Pay agreed it would help ease pressure on himself and his embattled team, who are struggling to win a game.
Pay took over from axed Des Hasler two years ago but the team hasn’t improved under his watch.

“We can go out into the market and we can look to bolster our recruitment, and that’s what every club wants to do,” he said.

“There’s some kids in there already that are starting to get some games under their belt and they will be better players going forward.

“We’ve got some real positive signs coming soon.

“It’s very hard for everyone at the moment, but we will move forward and we will get better.”

The Bulldogs looked lost as they battled with Brisbane on Saturday to avoid last place on the NRL ladder.
Both sides are in dismal form but Brisbane ended up winning the game rather comfortably.

Pay admitted simple errors cruelled his side.

“Disappointing, it was.

“We came out, we started OK, then we got in a bit of an arm wrestle then Dal turned the ball over. We made too many errors, we defended four or five sets. They got a penalty and three or four six-to-goes.

“Same in the second half, we started OK, then they kicked the ball from halfway and score. If we’re going to compete we have to be better in that area.

“We built a little bit of momentum. The boys dug in, they fought really hard which they’ve been doing.

“We put a few sets together and we looked OK. But again we just shoot ourselves in the foot, not giving ourselves the opportunity to compete with other teams at the moment.”
Go fuck yourself Pay and take the board and at least 14 players from fg with you, watching last night sickened me, what a fucking embarrassment of a club, actually sack the fucking lot as far as I'm concerned!!!

Nasheed here, I haven't seen Dean say this so can't gauge his body language.
But could it be that he's over it, wants out, is being killed by a thousand papercuts and just wants to collect his yearly salary and tune out this week?

If he really wanted to make it work he'd ask for time.

In some ways it's a smart move. If he's on The outer.... tell him now, he collects his money and has ample time to find work elsewhere. Rather than work like a dog for every cent then be out in his bum

It's not a bad idea. People are thinking with emotion.

So why don’t we offer Bellamy $4million then we can start rebuilding the rebuild.

You’d think any thought the board had of re-signing Pay are gone after last night. There’s no way they are going to be able to sugar coat keeping him and selling it to the fans. They just need to make the call and put Pay and everyone else out of their misery. The blame for it turning into a circus and dragging out like this rests firmly on the boards shoulders.

I think if we win last night they come out today with a twelve month extension but the hiding we got last night put paid to that. Broncs may done us a favour last night, it will force this board to act
