First things first... That's very vague, if your truly seeking answers you need to be willing to tell the whole story so your support network can support you on facts. (Not saying a public forum is the place to reveal such a struggle) also avoid superlatives (always, never, no reason, lost everything... Etc) they rarely are true or helpful in conversations that are meaningful.

You have not lost everything and your shattered reality is now your new reality, if your old reality is that important and remotely fixable, your new reality brings with it a new purpose of pursuing your old reality and a knew knowledge of the depths of what you value most.

First be open to being honest with yourself, examine yourself and see if you could have or could do anything that may have or might alter the out come.

Firstly everyone thinks their problems are like what the OP described..

People need a sense of perspective, receiving a parcel late is not grounds for all is lost..

Your tenant not paying rent on time is not Defcon 1.

A women walking out on you is not the end.

Put things in perspective, do you have your health, if so you can rebuild your life. Not saying it's an easy road but apply yourself to better things ahead.

Go take a trip to the hospital, children's Hospital, you will see grief stricken parents but the kids who are sick are usually in better spirits. They have a sense of resilience that is unmatched....unmatched

I believe a sick child is the hardest of roads, if the child dies is another level again.. that is simply unfair.

Anything else, rebuild your life.
