Averillo was cleared by the medicos, but the club (Pay) decided it was in the kids best interests to have another week off.
It is a good move and shows he looks after his players.
Speedy I respect your opinion however he passed the hia test during the actual game on the same night
Why does he need 2 weeks recovery especially when the kid is eager to play
What happened to the dogs of war mentality?

it’s like they’ve already thrown in the towel for the season but still want the fans to give 100%

No chance. He has done more than those two in the amount of games he has played already. I just think Pay is taking it easy with him, cause we want him to be the future. And that's what you do with young players, well if you want them to understand what they need to work on, and ensure they they get the best out of them. I'd like him to be our Fullback. Just do it the right way, play a bit of centre, and maybe once Hoppa is back, rotate him between Fullback and centre. Hoppa can teach him the finer arts, and when the game isn't in the balance, he can get extended spells at the back. Don't want to put too much pressure on him yet. But once he gets it, I'm sure he won't look back.
Yes yes
Makes brilliant sense
Don’t play the kid so he gets agitated and leaves
That’s showing him how much we care right?

Show him how much we care by him not getting picked cause he still is in HIA? Yeah that will keep 'em at the club.

Except he isn't, was cleared ages ago. Pay never wanted to play him and now has a "reason" not to play him.

I find it hilarious how I wasn’t surprised or even frustrated looking at that side. My face was straight and I was thinking in my head, I should become an nrl coach never knew it was this easy to make a quick buck

Bulldogs: Lock Adam Elliott is out with a dislocated shoulder, with British recruit Luke Thompson making his club debut in the No.13 jersey. The club was granted a player exemption on Thursday with Chris Smith joining the squad for Dean Britt. The Bulldogs have not defeated the Broncos at Suncorp since 2015.

What are u talking about ffs????
It was a reply to your stupid comment that by resting him and treating him like a bitch and not a a fg player that he’d stay around coz we showed him how much we care.
Wake up please
And I’m trying to be nice

Was just reading that DWZ has the most errors in the nrl so far this season. This is probably a good time to give Meaney a go at full back.
DWZ reverts to the wing where he has played his best games for the dogs. Hopefully keep his errors down and get our sets started.
Meaneys job is to defuse bombs and push up in attack. They should both have simple jobs that are within the limits of there abilities.
Just an opinion.

Tbf Smith would probably do a better job on the edge than Jackson right now
