I have always believed he was garbage. The previous board stuffed up with hiring him and the current board is outright neglectful keeping him on. He doesn’t even get a rating compared to all other club CEO’s. As much as some people dislike Castle, our front office/sponsors etc were firing when she was in. Plenty of quality CEO’s out there, really depends on specific sports administration experience, though the right talent could likely adapt regardless of the vertical.

That money has been invested into expanding the club, and enhancing its earning capacity. It will be repaid principally from gaming machine returns; and the club has assets worth well over $100 million.

I completely agree. It begs the question, why did they want the top job in the first place if they weren't equipped to handle it or didn't have a clear plan of how to rebuild a club? Was it simply for ego and prestige?
