I had a dream about this game last night. There was about 60 seconds left in the game and we had the ball about 30 out from our line. Elliot made a spirited run and made a half break and managed to pop a beautiful offload to Foran on his inside. Foran saw a gap and ran to the line before getting a pass off to Wakeham who spotted an opportunity. He put in a delicate grubber kick for Remis who stormed down the touchline to scoop it up. The opposition winger chasing tackled him around the legs 10 meters from the try line and tried desperately to crocodile roll him into touch, but Remis was too big and strong and he reach out with the ball in one hand and planted it over the line. The boys were extactic congratulating each other on a brilliant try. As the final siren sounded Meany's conversion from the sideline sailed right over the black dot. The final score Souths 48 - Bulldogs 6.
I thought once you mentioned form you were going to say Foran injured himself after he got the ball and it was game

These poor commentators must groan and whinge to their wives when they see the bulldogs every Sunday night on their shift.

that we have some good kick offs
We actually don’t even have that mate, the inability to get the ball to land between the dead ball line and try line is nigh on impossible for us...

Opposition always get the ball on the 20m, immediately putting us on the back foot...

Funny you should say that. It looks like jmk takes the kick offs because he is in the centre of the field so we don’t disrupt our defensive line.

I have been jealous for years of players like feldt and pat Richards sending missiles up in the air. Fair enough if you rely on your kicks offs your defence must be horrendous. But it doesn’t hurt making the first tackle 10 out, and put the pressure on for a mistake or bad kick.
