Of contract next year. But I think Hughes from the Storm would be a great pick up as a Fullback

Next year line up
1.hoppa
2.averillo
3.DWZ
4.cotric
5.smith
6.Foran
7.hastings
8.thompson
9.Wakeham
10.napa
11.jackson
12.rfm
13.bateman
14.jmk
15.tomaga
16.stimson
17.britt
I think Wakeham will play hooker, quick, ball skills and kicking.
That’s the team we will end up with.
JAC will end up at Rabbitohs
Harry Grant will honour contract at storm
Hastings is definitely our half back.
Foran will stay, if injured Wakeham can slot in to 6. Back up winger and centre
Nick Meaney, chritchon, Tass, make a play for Alex Johnston.
Didn't the club say they were grooming Avo to be a spine player. If so, why the hell would they waste him on the wing. Kid has speed, footwork, ball playing ability and most importantly a footy brain. 6 or 1 - anything else is a waste.
Wakeham at 9??????
Swap Foran with Burton and that's not too bad a side
Upgrade Pay with anyone else and we might even make the 8 next year

These are only estimates but from what I read they should be accurate enough to show it would be possible to sign all these players if we shed those below.

Sign
Josh Ado Carr 600K - we desperately need to add "strike" in the backs (Reimis too lazy)
Nick Cotric 600K good young strong Australian rep
Jackson Hastings 350K - has kicked on in Super League - Man of Steel - watch his highlights
Matt Burton 300k - surely one of these 2 halves has to work out to be good (hopefully both)
Brandon Smith 550K - probably behind Harry Grant now at the Storm
John Bateman 750K - wish we could afford Fifita but don't think it's possible
CHN 300k - good chance the NRL would register him next year and he would come cheap. If "anyone" is gonna get him cheap then it's criminal if we are not the ones

1 Will Hopoate (550K) / Jake Averillo
2 Josh Ado Carr (600K)
3 Jake Averillo (200K) / Will Hopoate
4 Nick Cotric (600K)
5 DWZ (500K)
6 Kieran Foran (400K - save 800K)

That is one mother of a side, love it.

You might have to add a couple hundred g's on Luke Thompsons contract though but get what you say.

I sincerely hope we didn't pay more than 750K a season for Thompson. If we did that's way overs. We would have been better off going for Fifita.

The only report that's come out regarding how much Thompson is on is 850k from the DT.

I don't like this.
Firstly JAC isnt a priority. Wingers aren't a priority and we have too many as is. Our problems on the field are long before the play gets to the wing.
350 wont be enough to get Hastings. You'd need to start the bidding at 500. Roughly what he is on now.
300 for CHN. 'Come cheap' Playa what? Why would he come cheap? Teams will be circling and he will likely get a payrise from the 400 he was on with us. He's going to be in high demand with warriors, Titans, saints, Souths and tigers circling.

Don't see any value in JAC for us on that sort of money.Watching last nights game ( what a ripper) B Smith features, JAC got rag dolled and had no impact on the game.

Wingers are pretty important as they start sets usually after a kick downfield. If the opposition are lazy in chasing kicks someone with his speed could be away. We need someone to create definitely. With Hastings, Foran and Burton in the halves (with Wakeham as back-up) and with Brandon Smith at hooker plus Bateman and CHN on the edge with Cotric and Averillo in the centres, ball playing Hopa at fullback (who'se a bit slow) we would need some speedy finishers and there's not much faster than JAC. DWZ runs at opponents usually - not around them. We need someone who can make the most of offloads / half breaks / broken field play. Reimis could be very good but he's too lazy. Doesn't go looking for the ball enough.

Re CHN, yes every club would fully realise his talent but what happened in the past will definitely still affect his price. Look at Elliott. We're in the age of Political Correctness remember. Some sponsors and fans might not be too happy about their club signing CHN despite his talent. Look at Todd Carney etc.

JAC isn't someone who's strong at creating sets. For this reason I'd actually prefer a Ryan Hall to a JAC.

we do live in a PC world but the PC police are on his side because 'girls are allowed to have sex' and teams still want to win.

Ryan hall hasn’t posted a try in two seasons since joining the roosters...

Although JAC is on the pricey side he brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the squad, which we sadly lack. Not to mention he’s try scoring ability

JAC only works at the end of a sold backline. We need players to create chance because our forwards and halves don't do the job

hall at least beings leg drive to restart sets.
