i didnt mean an 80min long term option at 9. im happy for Cogger to stay, said on another post he could be a far better option at 14 for us moving forward, covers 7 and 9 pending injury and offers far more than JMK imo. Of course this all depends on if we can sign Grant or someone of quality

any big strong interchange hooker is excellent in the new game... tongan rotation with Katoa maybe haha. id say thats the angle we may have to take as i dont see us getting a topline hooker until 2022

Good pickup for the right price, can cover quite a few positions.

Didn't realise he'd been over there for so long (since 2018 according to Rugby League Project). 42 games at halfback. At 24 still plenty of life left in his legs too (as he debuted really young with Easts).

Only problem is according to his socials he just moved house a few weeks ago in UK.

Personally, I really like this at the right price. Our priority at this stage has to be a hooker but if we can sign him to play 7, and Burton to play 6 that will excite me (or Foran on 350k)!

Jackson Hastings has the next 24 hours to decide whether he will invoke a get-out clause and return to the NRL in 2021.

Wigan want to keep the halfback - who was on fire in Super League before COVID-19 -but will allow him to return home on compassionate grounds next season if he so desires.

Wigan need to know his plans ASAP, however so they can make contingency moves, and have told Hastings they would like an answer before June 30 in the UK.

The New Zealand Warriors are making a huge play for Hastings, but he wants to return to family in Sydney, with the Bulldogs the early favourites to get his signature.

None and Buckley's have a better chance of securing Hasting's signature!!

What did you think of Cogger at 9? I personally think he did well. He fatigued towards the end. But needs match fitness in that positions

He'd make a better rake than halfback imo. Has a good pass, tough as nails, but has the brains of a sandwich. Give him a simple role and he'll shine, give him more things to do than he has brain cells and he'll struggle.

Maybe you haven't seen my other posts regarding our long term 7 and 9 options... And that post doesn't mean I want him there long term. Many posts of mine say hed be good to extend as he's a great reserve 7 as well as a potential 14 in FG

He sounds pretty motivated to get back to Australia and prove himself a top half in the NRL and was playing very well. I think he would suit us and we should make a strong play for him.

That’s my thoughts also... he has a real good passing game and under the new rules he can play eyes up footy at 9... doesn’t need to think about controlling the team..
