These days fullback is a second five-eighth/half without having to tackle (obviously try savers, last line, etc). That as well as bad hands is why DWZ will never be a fullback.

Hopoate out for at least 2-3 weeks. 6-10 weeks worst case.

Not good. So basically a short while or virtually season ending. Our season in fact is already done so it is not really going to matter at all. Feel bad for him he looked a very dejected figure sitting on the bench.

I like DWZ and Smith on the wing, and I doubt pay will throw Avo or Meaney at FB. So probably my DWZ will get the nod.
I reckon bring in Schoup into the centre’s If he’s in the plans for the club. Unsure who else we can bring in. But Holland shouldn’t be anywhere near the 17 moving forward. Cost us so much last night.

I like Cogger at 9, better option than JMK have some more options and a decent sneaky kick.
Foran and Wakeham even though he had a shocker. Foran Avo quite even an option.
Not much we can do with the forwards except play RT longer and start, and throw in Thompson.
