I think Elliot has a spot in our squad, especially at the moment. Im very much of the opinion that he shouldn't be on an edge, and his ideal position is being the bench and being used sparingly. But i also believe Carrigan is potentially a much better player than Elliot with a much higher ceiling.

I literally said here are the stats AND Elliott is better on the eye test. The Tolman e.g. is garbage because he doesn't have any attacking stats, only metres (and it isn't a good MPM - metres per minute).

Elliott's only qualities are heart and effort and sometimes that's good enough for FG. There's nothing wrong with those qualities and if you added them to someone like She-rex then he's the terminator. Elliott can be hugely proud already of his achievements in RL so hat's off to him and well done.

There's plenty of footy players who got to the top with just those attributes. Now claiming that Elliott is anything more then a bench player for a struggling roster is just dreaming.

All good, Elliott would do way more in a team like ours then in a good team so his stats are easily higher due to that I think. Making up for shit fuks like Napa or blokes who don't know Arthur from Martha due to ever changing team selections and low confidence.

Elliott's the one off contract, as is Tolman. Cut them loose and move on, the core makeup of the squad badly needs a shakeup.
