This is the stats that proves Pay needs to go ASAP.

CANTERBURY

No team committed more handling errors than the Bulldogs over the opening two rounds, which included seven from fullback Dallin Watene-Zelezniak. Dean Pay's side also ranked last in tackle breaks, equal-last in offloads, and fourth in penalties conceded prior to the league's suspension.

Pay needs to go because the team, and more so, one individual, can't hold the ball. A lot of (if not all) the other statistics you've thrown up are also individual.

No Pay needs to go because he is the worst coach we have had in our history.

Stats don’t lie, we have no attack, he builds a game plan on defensive structures, and we suck at “D” too..

Maybe if DWZ wasn’t playing out of position, he would have dropped the ball less.

But Pay has overachieved remember? When we win, Pay deserves all of the credit and when we lose the players deserve all of the blame.

what do you mean blame the players? they are just having a run of bad luck.... look at foran for example... it's just bad luck that he is always injured...

You listed stats that are individual. If a top coach is available and fits the bill I have no issue getting rid of Pay. The statistics actually show Pay has overachieved tho. This year we were predicted to finish second last (and last year the wooden spoon), lets see where we finish.

Dear Mr Pay, Board and Recruitment team.

Could you please tell the fans what the plan is moving forward.

We don’t want to hear about Bulldog DNA or bringing back Reynolds. We wanna hear if we are in talks with any real promise.

We don’t wanna hear about signing fringe first graders who can’t hold a FG spot down in other teams.

Are we chasing a decent center, winger for the remainder of this season? Who will be our halves combination, and how the hell are you going to replace CHN?

#sackpay
You know, these wouldnt be unreasonable questions for the club to address for their fans. They spruik family but.....
It appears that the club likes to keep its cards close to its chest regarding signings and for good reason.
In saying that, we havent had 'any' news regarding signings apart from Thompson.
We are about to recommence the season, supposedly have money to burn next year (which will be here in 5 mins) but we know nothing, zilch, nada.
We havent had money for years so nothing to look forward too signing wise, just wish the club would treat its members and fans like family and give us a little. An email, an update, something.....

The stats were team based which included showcasing the leading ball dropper of 7!

You’re dumb, and it shows with your support for pay and his inept coaching style.

Re-read the comment them maybe adjust your reply fool!

We haven’t blown a team off the park in ages. Too much feeling sorry for ourselves. Always the underdog. Always the young team tag. Salary cap constraints.

I just don’t see it ending under pay. He hasn’t achieved anything since he has arrived. Will we ever see a winning culture ??

Pay is full of excuses.

What will they be over the next few weeks! Can’t blame the break as every team is in the same shit storm.

Pay about to ink a 2 year extension. The Board are happy with the team harmony and the intensity shown in the Parramatta game proved once and for all that Pay has the respect of the squad. Happy to have our own SuperCoach with us another 2 years. Go Dogs.

I agree totally. It’s time for a change, and the board should turn him before the season starts again, get a caretaker and put the word out and see who applies for it.
No idea.

Is this some kind of comedic spread?

Are you Nasheed morphed into Twin Turbo?

1990 - Current list

Chris Anderson 1990 - 1997 winning percentage 61% Quit to coach Storm

Steve Folks 1998 - 2008 winning percentage 56.1% Sacked or contract not renewed.

Kevin Moore 2009 - 2011 winning Percentage 53% Sacked

Moore was sacked midway through the 2011 season after the club underachieved in the ensuing two years, failing to make the finals in either 2010 or 2011.

Jim Dymock 2011 winning Percentage 62.5%

Never given a real shot.

Des Hasler 2012 - 2017 winning percentage 56.8% Sacked

We all know why he was sacked

Dean Pay 2018 - current winning percentage 36.7%

Every coach appointed by the club since 1978 (Ted Glossop, Warren Ryan, Phil Gould, Chris Anderson and Folkes) has won a premiership.

Besides Haslers success, although at the expense of our salary cap we’ve done very little since Folkes. It’s time to find a new coach and bring back a winning culture.
Pay is a f'ing useless coach, sick of his team selection's, the player's he's brought to the club and his fucked game plan, he won't deliver our club a premiership and guaranteed he'll be signed longer than 2 years and that's why our club will take a decade before we even come close to winning a premiership.

Dont agree about Pay being useless. His record prior to coming wasnt to bad.
As far as his selections go, he is there with the team 24/7 almost. He knows whats going down.
I dont think you do, even though you may have an opinion.
As for his game plan, he has to get the players to do what they are capable of. In most cases, its not much.
They cant perform beyond their ability limits.
Give him a go when he gets the right cattle.
