The Bulldogs are an urban legend.... lots of tales how once upon a time, 17 guys in blue and white won premierships and opponents were scared to face them....
If u don't like our clubs history, what are u doing on this forum, take your opinion somewhere else, like the tigers,or go into hibernation with the bears

Will the NRL be the worlds first sport to attempt a comeback?

A few soccer leagues didn’t stop at all and the Korean soccer league is starting games again on Friday.

I have been shocked by how little the dogs have done during all this.

Yes they have stood most of the staff down but so have all clubs

The only email we have got is asking for money!

No player interviews posted anywhere done through zoom or similar

You go on most club sites and they have something,

Nothing on who is back ie Elliott? Who isn't , how many players we actually have

No messages to the fans to stay safe

No videos on instagram of the players keeping fit/ staying safe etc with messages to the fans

No footage of the team getting together Monday, nothing

Do we still exist?
Question given the staff have been stood down who do you think would be/should be doing all the stuff you mentioned?

Other clubs have stood down staff down and still managed to do it
They were able to keep asking fans for money.....

There are ways if you want to

As someone else said the media stuff has been pretty crummy for ages now,

The way I see it the more appropriate question was why were all of the staff stood down. They were obviously eligible for JobKeeper, so pass on the $1500 a fortnight and pay the media staff to keep on generating content, even if it was only 2 or 3 days a week. Simple stuff like a 2 minute Skype with a handful of players every week on what they have doing, how they are keeping fit, how their family is handing the isolation etc. It would have been interesting to see a Skype session with Elliott on wrestling NT crocodiles as his fitness regime. It wasn’t that hard to at least try and keep fans engaged so we are ready, fired up, when the footy resumes or more inclined to donate if that was the objective.

Unfortunately this is far from the only example of our media department letting the team down. It’s by some margin our weakest area of non football contribution, they constantly miss opportunities to generate positive publicity and, much worse, they leave negative media unchallenged. At the very least whenever there is negative press they should be counteracting it with a positive story. I hate the pricks, but one thing the Chooks do is manage the media, been doing it for decades. We need to really step up our media game, their consistently poor performance affects us in so many areas.

good point, it happened after 01/03 so they are entitled to jobkeeper.

Within the media department and in regards to content, we have a lot of player interviews and things of the sort. Our Facebook and Twitter page are updated at like 2 hours a time. In regards to everything else, I get that they should be providing more updates within membership.

Hopefully they're as much prophecy as legend.
