if Johns' career went longer maybe, but Cam400 has been just about top 3 every season for a very long time and always had Storm at the top of the ladder, as well as the Maroons over NSWAndrew Johns is the GOAT.
How the fuck is Inglis ahead of Slater, Thurston and Cronk?
Lockyer is overrated.
I don't care if Cam Smith had played 1000 games. If you made a top 10 list of Joey and Cam's best 5 seasons Joey would be 1-5 and Cam 6-10. Joey never had player's the calibre of Slater and Cronk around him.if Johns' career went longer maybe, but Cam400 has been just about top 3 every season for a very long time and always had Storm at the top of the ladder, as well as the Maroons over NSW
Even Souths fans will say that GI is a lazy c***, hard to put him above guys who were at the top of their game year after year
personal opinion I guess, some will say Joey, some CamI don't care if Cam Smith had played 1000 games. If you made a top 10 list of Joey and Cam's best 5 seasons Joey would be 1-5 and Cam 6-10. Joey never had player's the calibre of Slater and Cronk around him.
And those that say Cam are incorrect and don't understand Rugby Leaguepersonal opinion I guess, some will say Joey, some Cam
There is no room for discussion here, anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Taumalolo is a generational talent. At 26 he is already one of the most dominant players we've ever seen and he could play for another decade. He is a freak athlete, people with his size and power shouldn't be able to move that quick. He is so quick off the mark that it wouldn't matter if he played with the 5m rule, he would still be head and shoulders above any forward on the field. Sure there was some pretty tough blokes around back in the day but almost none of them had the technique or the physical attributes that Taumalolo has. Taumalolo would have even better numbers back in the day before all these wrestling tactics were a thing. He absolutely would stand out.

Bradley Clyde is the only comparable player from a previous era and IMO taumololo is head and shoulders above him. Most locks were about 80kgs back in the day, even with a five metre rule they would not be able to contain him. Who is a better lock then Taumololo?he has not had to endure what some of the forwards of the past have, so you can't say that guys from that era would not be dominating in today's game like he is, or that he would be better than those guys if he had played in their era
That list was absolutely terrible until you mentioned Elliott. Put Elliott on the field with those 4 guys right now and he would absolutely tear them apart. So top 5 would have to be
Inglis
Slater
Smith
Johns
Elliott
Storm cheating the cap to have 4 top 6 players in this era. It definitely worked for themView attachment 14428
No surprises here, however GI is not top 5 for mine, I would have had Freddy or Cooper in front of him
Simply isn’t experienced enough to pick a best of ALL TIME, he plainly is a prime example of he does not know what he does not know.he posted this the other day of best players in the NRL era
That's your black and white glasses seeing it.Would be nice to see Benji Marshall get selected as an immortal. From a kiwis point of view anyway..!!
Don’t care who disagree, it’s my opinion not yours.!!
