How did Todd remain at the helm for all these years when things were really not that good in general.
No wonder the knifes are out for him big time.I have a lot more faith in P.V
I used to watch NRL 360 and understand why repeated requests for management to appear and explain some facts & figures fell on deaf ears.
Anyway let’s hope we see our season resume in some form or another.

I agree mate re: the state of the game, but I think the rot set in before Todd - Dave Smith was a bad choice.
Still, Todd has been in the chair 4 years and has had ample time to set the game up for the future and the virus has exposed that failure.
I agree that V'Landys is a much better operator and although there'd be a lot going on behind the scenes right now keeping Todd busy - I've really noticed how V'Landys has taken the front seat media wise and kept Todd in the background - I wonder if that's a sign of things to come.
Irrespective of the individuals - it's clear the vehicle itself needs a shake-up.

We need sport back in our lives. I sat there last night on Fox Sports watching fucking virtual V8 Supercars racing and that excited me ffs!

Exactly. In the great scheme of things in front of virus spread, and deaths, and market crashes and economic downfall NRL is insignificant.

But when you are confined to home I would see live sport as the break in routine to look forward to. Definitely gives some folk something to look forward to.

Would be good to even get more games in per week. Not just thursday-Sunday. And if you get back quickly you have market dominance too.

I can’t see if there is a 2 conference system why you couldn’t have one Comp playing Monday to Thursday and the other Friday to Sunday.

But yeh. In the Great Depression there was don bradman and Phar lap. So there definitely needs to be some sort of push to normalise life a little.
