I don't think anyone can use caronavirus as an excuse to invade privacy and try to moralize.
Society is a disgrace.

At Bunnings getting materials for work ffs Xmas holidays c*** trying to get in with camp trailers ,loaded up surfboards. We are not going to get it till thousands start dying
The same as most countries though mate. Some have just been lucky. We're all just spoilt. Used to getting things out own way. When the government cracks down we cry "Breach of our rights" etc. etc.

Loved how the Chinese welded peoples' doors shut so they couldn't get out! Australia needs that also! And some ***** with long sticks beating people for walking on the beaches, just like they're doing in India.

Research out of Germany suggests that we're only detecting around 6% of the Coronavirus cases. Which means the amount of cases could be in the 10's to 100's of millions.

That's actually positive though, isn't it? Means there are a lot more people who've had the virus but recovered meaning there are more people with short-term immunity?

Yep. It means that the virus is a lot more contagious than current predictions, but it also means it's a lot less deadly and we're a lot more likely to reach heard immunity sooner. As long as people can't get re-infected.

Unfortunately on the downside it means that it's a lot harder to stop so we're still likely to see many more deaths before it's over.

Sack him. The Police are going through caravan parks and such up the coast giving people warnings. Tomorrow they start handing out tickets. This bloke has no excuse, he is part of the government that came up with the rules. If he doesn't cop it over this that will give all the idiots out there an "excuse" to break the rules too.

It validates approaches that seek to limit the death toll and stop hospitals from getting over run.

Bullshit? That’s not handy
https://nypost.com/2020/04/07/51-recovered-coronavirus-patients-test-positive-again-in-south-korea/

At least 51 patients diagnosed as having fully recovered from the coronavirus in South Korea have tested positive a second time after leaving quarantine, according to officials.

The patients from Daegu all tested positive in a “relatively short time” after they were given the all-clear from their initial infections, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) said, according to the government-funded Yonhap News Agency.

I saw that. They mentioned that each detection of re-infection was shortly after they had been given the all clear from the initial infection which still suggests that it's probably the initial virus and the testing just returned a false negative. Something that will need to be monitored closely.

Yeah, that's the one. This is the same for the other re-infections. They only happen shortly after they were cleared. The tests they use are about 60-70% accurate. To overcome the inaccuracy they usually test twice to make sure the virus has cleared. But there's still a chance that you'll get a false negative.
