Not throwing ‘mud’ on the girls but if what’s reported is correct they contacted the players via social and tinder
They voluntarily went to the hotel
They voluntarily had sex with them
Let’s not make it out like they were forced against their will

I get what you're saying, and agree that the girls weren't forced against their will. No one is saying that in the slightest.
However ... what I think a lot of people on here seem to be forgetting is that our players in representing the club and running a training session at a school had a duty of care. They were bound to a set of regulations which they had to abide by, and clearly JO at least didn't. He used his position as a player to take advantage of a situation which he was legally (according to the stipulations in his contract with the Dogs and NRL) bound not to do. The only reason people can say "nothing ILLEGAL" was done is because the girls and their parents didn't complain. Had they complained, then without doubt the police would've taken up the matter and the club would be in A LOT more trouble.
I really can't say much in CHN's case as from what I've read this wasn't the case with him in that the girl was from a school he ran a session at. So, I do think the punishment is a little harsh, but I don't know the facts behind this. Clearly the club and NRL think there's more than enough to de-register him and I support them on that.
Were the girls innocent? What I'd say is that they are young and those two players being adults AND professionals with training on such matters shouldn't have taken the next step. That would've been the professional, and mature way of doing things.
