Just on that conspiracy, what is it that is wrong with the idea of a one world government. In the end we are all human and there is a possibility of no need to fight over land rights
the boats from Africa will be full to Australia in that scenario.
Boko Haram would have a field day with the white girls of Gold Coast.

Borders controls the hoardes.

This is pretty much spot on.

We need to re-calibrate the structure of the game as it isn't sustainable (only a couple of teams are making a profit).
That doesn't mean removing the salary cap tho. It will be lowered after this but there are other problems.
i get what richardson is saying and agree on many points... but honestly fuck that guy! carried on last night after it was questioned why souths are taking the angle of only the strong survive... he was like "absolutely no one helped souffs when we were kicked out of the comp" guess he forgot about Bulldogs helping with auctions and that hey, cant stand that fucking club.

The accountant in me thinks the salary cap is a ridiculous restraint of trade that distorts the market.

But the footy fan in me thinks we need it.

If we don't have a salary cap.
How can Cronulla, in its ten suburb district, compete with Brisbane, who gots all of SEQ?

if no salary cap, Brisbane will have the QLD origin team as it's first grade side and in reserve grade you'll have a halves combo of Blake Green and Kieran Foran with Josh Reynolds coming off the reserve grade bench, yet still getting paid more than the Titans team guys.

And one team will inevitably Jew up and decide to pay players no more than 100k each to save cash and 'present opportunities'. And therefore we see Lichaa extend his career into 400 games like Smith.

Your acting like without a salary cap maybe 2 teams get let go and we still
Have a strong comp. This isn’t English soccer with 40 clubs over three divisions almost all
Of them being owned by billionaires and hundreds of millionaires(whatever the term is) Without the salary cap this comp will become a 8-10 team comp in 2 years. It cannot work

Brisbane will have another team.
Won't work. How can you take a team from another's territory?
You think dogs fans would flock towards a new Burwood Bears franchise? It's almost that ridiculous

There are a lot of people in Brisbane who don’t support the Donkeys and would support a new team. Particularly if it’s a team “graduating” to the NRL, they already have a supporter base. Use the geography, same as Swans and Giants in AFL.

Using the geography maybe, but they want to both play out of Suncorp so how?
All I've heard is Brisbane brumbies and Brisbane bombers. No differentiation and that's not rugby league to me.

The one that could genuinely work is Ipswich. Or Ipswich Logan corridor 'the Ipswich Logan corridor condors' has a ring to it.
But that's negated when you consider it's like asking Penrith panthers to play out of Shark Park. Geography doesn't work.

Is there enough territory for a North Brisbane team? Seems small. Maybe a north Brisbane and sunny coast amalgamation, but that's feeling messy like a wests tigers thang.

Absolutely. Didn't league have 4 of the top rated shows on tv last year?

It should be strongest survive. They drop back to CCup and new ones come in.

The way it is now is not economically sustainable it appears.

Need a new breed of Administrators, with experience from successful OS sports and run it like a consumer business; not boyzclub.
Absolutely possible. If the game has to rise like a Phoenix, then the business model has to change.

What would you guys feel about a super rationalised Comp?

nth Qld
Brisbane
Newcastle
North Sydney Bulldogs
South Sydney Rabbitohs
Western Sydney panthers
Parramatta eels
Illawarra dragons
Canberra Raiders
Nine teams means one team has no opponent each week. I'd suggest the Brisbane Bulldogs is more likely under your suggestion, and a Central Coast team. Melbourne would still be viable, and what about keeping NZ in the comp?

We should be hoping the NRL Burns in eternity so something half decent can rise from its place that isn’t the shitfire dumpster we endure today.
Spot on,they have ruined our game, the greedy bastards have been milking our game for years, finally they are being exposed, for the criminals that they really are, they should be put aside without any pay, take a look at the AFL,they own their ground, have numerous properties as assets, and over half a billion in the bank.

And yet they are still cutting the players salaries by 50%.
