Good to see Australia taking it more seriously, but is it all too little too late?

As I've said before, I'd be shitting myself if I were in Aus atm. Obviously not too comfortable where I am, but at the very least our government has acted relatively quickly and by some miracle shit hasn't crossed the border.

Just can't believe that your schools are still open! Fucking mental that imo

I'm not in Aus but my employee got it. Mild issues. Self-quarantine. Seems to be better now.

Yes.

My parents close family friend who is very very well off got the corona from one of his factory workers.

He is currently in hospital now with pneumonia and it does not look good. He is 78 years old

I found this to be a good read.
Finally a media outlet providing facts about the China virus.

I generally don't agree with most stuff that goes up on the Federalist, not necessarily because it's not true (because often it is). Mainly 'cause it's deliberately divisive. Much like Trump calling it "the China Virus". It's true, but it fuels racism.

That said, you'll probably enjoy this article written by a friend

I can't wait for this episode to end so we can start fully hating on Trum... I mean racist again, when he conspires with Russia to rig the election and win a 2nd term!

FFS, no more half arsing, lock it down now. The fact that Qld still is having an election on the weekend is insame.

I have zero faith in the so so called Chief Medical Officer, who is clearly Scomo's stooge.

Here is what people who actually represent doctors are saying:

What I'm wondering, for the playas out there, are you still slamming your b*tches? Or is the muff off the menu for a while?

Only if you get them all in the same room and self-isolate.

I would say multiply that number by at least 4 or 8 times.

Easy mate would be a safe bet .
Here's something on China
China 'didn't report 43,000 silent carriers'
A Hong Kong newspaper says China's government excluded from its statistics about one-third of people who tested positive for the new coronavirus but showed no symptoms.

The South China Morning Post reported on Monday that classified government data it obtained show that more than 43,000 so-called silent carriers were not counted in the number of confirmed cases by the end of February.

China reported around 79,000 confirmed cases as of the end of last month.

The paper said that when silent carriers are taken into account, the number of infected people on the mainland exceeds 120,000.
