Meeting the girls at school could very simply be they met the girls at school and then the girls went to whatever pub the players were at that night.
Was one of the women Greenbergs daughter? They have also been deemed to have broken the NRL code of conduct too.
Well they're goneSuspended Bulldogs players ‘met two girls during high school visit’
The Bulldogs players at the centre of a new NRL scandal are alleged to have met two girls during a school visit on a pre-season trip to Port Macquarie earlier this month.
Kiwi Test forward Corey Harawira-Naerea and Bulldogs winger Jayden Okunbor have both been issued with show-cause notices by the NRL after Canterbury-Bankstown self-reported the incident to the game’s governing body.
Both players have been asked to “show cause” why the NRL should not cancel or suspend their registrations as players.
Earlier, Daily Telegraph reporter Dean Ritchie revealed on NRL Tonight on Tuesday night that the allegation of misconduct related to an incident at Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid-North Coast, where the Bulldogs played a trial match against the Raiders two weeks ago.
“While neither player is the subject of a criminal investigation, the club is treating the matter very seriously. The allegations are that each player engaged in behaviour that represents a serious breach of the NRL rules and the Bulldogs’ code of conduct, resulting in the NRL notice.
“The club supports the NRL’s decision to issue the breach notices and will continue to work with the NRL to conclude the process.
“Both players have an opportunity to respond to the matters alleged in the breach notice before any final decision is made.”
Harawira-Naera would have been starting in the backrow against the Eels and Okunbor was tipped to win a spot on the wing ahead of Christian Crichton.

Because no doubt In a few weeks time it would have come out and the NRL would have done an investagtion anyway. Then we would have been dragged over hot coals in the press for trying to cover something up.
Good move imo, suspend them for a game, fine then some bucks and move on
They broke club/team protocols. Drop them for a game and hit their back pockets - fair enough
But why the fuck would you notify the NRL and let a nothing story hit the headlines?
Deal with it in house you pussy's
We had a great team thenThe good news is that the last time we were involved in a scandal on the mid north coast we played Parra in Round 1 and won by 40 odd points.
I sense you are associated with a school in some way, perhaps have had to sit through some child welfare/protection seminars? Seems to be two types of responses to this news, those who can't see how it is serious, and those who know what all the extra implications are the moment you bring a school environment into the context...Well they're gone
Who we signing boys

The Bullfrog days are long gone and there’s no way he would be able to sweep stuff under the carpet like he used to back then. For many years the players and our club have had to cop it from the media and the rest of Australia.
We have copped it more than any other club. We are the club that everyone hates.
You would think the wankers running "our" club would be the last people to throw the players under the bus and put more shit on whatever reputation we had left as the blue and white army.
I don't agree with what the player's have done but in saying that the club is there to support and guide these guys....Not throwing them to the media 2 days out for the start of our year.
Whoever made this call to release this story to the media (our number one enemy) should be kicked out of the club along with whoever else agreed with them .
If bullfrog was stil around he would have protected his players and club from this bullshit.
No complaints or charges have been laid?Professional athletes picking up schoolgirls and taking them back to their hotel is never going to be a "nothing story". Although they are the legal age of consent and probably look a lot older than 17 or 18, it's a really poor look for the game and the club, especially when we're struggling to get a sponsor. To put things in perspective, when most of us were getting up this morning to go to work, these girls were heading off to school.
