I was going to give Pay a chance this year. But fuk him. The trials showed Stimson isnt fit. Fmd! Even play av or Harper on the wing. Crichton is just a dud

Stimson is a great pick up and will go well in CHN’s absence.

Pay no attention to the unwashed on here who have written him off already based on appearance.

Harper is not in the 21, so plainly RSmith was a lock in at centre, which means a winger has to step up. Plus Holland is the bench utility, so not a centre option either. Throwing an inexperienced Averillo in against Fungacide, Jennings, Blake and Sivo was not a very good idea. Leaving Crichton as the last winger standing, not exactly ideal.

You lost some fire power with the two suspended players but you're not looking too shabby.
Brad Arthur (my 2nd least favourite coach in the comp just in front of Dean Pay) has gone for tried and not so true favourites.
I don't think Waqa Blake will play so Taka should come in with Stone(?) to the bench.
Bankwest - first game of the season, plenty to play for I am backing Eels by a small margin.
