They talk up the story like it was as if he had a really tough decision to make! LOL!!!! He is off contract at the end of the year, has struggled to hold his lace in the team, and was stripped of the captaincy this year. Was there any other choice??!!!Frees up $2m in the Broncos cap.

Under any circumstances it's very hard for a competitor to step away from the game. Especially if it isn't on their terms. They talk up the story like it was as if he had a really tough decision to make! LOL!!!! Im not suggesting it was an easy decision, but the inevitable was, well, inevitable. He has simply saved himself the humiliation of wanting another contract and not being given one.Under any circumstances it's very hard for a competitor to step away from the game. Dont get me wrong, the guy has been incredible throughout his whole career, but Did anyone honestly expect him to go around again next year?
He is retiring at the end of 2020. He only would've had a contract for 2021 if he had played 15 games or more this season. Broncos would've capped him at 14. Now he can play the whole season without getting a new contract. So hold on does he get paid or not because I find it hard to believe someone walks away from hundreds of thousands of dollars..
You reckon??Darius probably did
If someone was dumb enough to offer him a contract, absolutelyYou reckon??
