Hopefully the Dogs will soon follow suit now that the Storm have also snagged a sponsor.

Exactly, perhaps a creepier thing is that the NRL couldn't find a higher profile player in Sydney (which is obviously where the photo shoot happened), that ticks all the necessary boxes for a high stakes sponsor photo grab. Mbye is basically there as the safest available option who has played for QLD in SOO.

I tell you what I think... this will be just like the start of the 2009 season. We didn't get any sponsors, and in fact, we were sponsoring Camp Quality and had their banner on our jersey - just to have something on out jersey. After a few wins early on, we got a sponsor. I think the same thing will happen this year as well.

I never thought anything could improve Agent Orange. Substantial improvement! Pity we’d still have to hear what comes out of his mouth - maybe the beard could help muffle that...

I know that Jaycar came on board later on i the season, but earlier on, I think round 3 or 4, we secured Strathfield Car Radios... although the NRL knocked them back because they are a direct competitor with Telstra.
