I log in about once a fortnight/month and scroll along for an hour or so, hitting the like button and dropping the occasional comment. As a professional i'm supposed to be on it, but it all just seems like a massive wank TBH. I have never obtained a client through it, and I doubt many people ever do.

Does anyone else use it? Do they find it useful?
Sounds like you’re using it like Facebook.
I’m literally on it everyday. Great platform to leverage your connections, but also to follow certain businesses, you stay on top of what they’re doing with news etc. which you can leverage to your own advantage.
Depends on what you do for a living. Might not be for everyone.

What does that even mean?
It means exactly how it’s read.
What aren’t you getting?

Great platform (LinkedIn is a platform) to leverage your connections (people you’re connected with) in other words this person might know that person that you’re interested in speaking with, whether it be intel, background, you want their business, introduction, find the right decision makers etc

If you know how to put yourself out there in the real world you can network that way.

If its meant to be, then it will.
There's no such thing as coincidence.

As far as I can tell, LinkedIn is just an endless stream of management wank words and cliches, and 'inspirational' and 'motivational' quotes. And if at all possible, put those quotes near a picture of Steve Jobs head, no matter if Steve Jobs actually said it or not. Doesn't matter, cause no one will ever bother to check and then, about 76,740 peeps will 'like' that post in about 9 minutes after it's posted.

Instagram is the worst for inspirational quotes.

"you can become anything you want to be. You just need to be born rich and pretty"

- some ugly wrench no one loves
My favourite is all these virgin incels who watch too much pornography and think every woman is a whore who only fucks guys over 6"5?

Its nice to have it confirmed that little men do envy us bigger guys.

I don't blame you at all.
I too would be envious knowing you can get away with being yourself to attract women!
