Brisbane have stood down Joe Ofahengaue for two NRL games after he pleaded guilty earlier this month to being in charge of a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level in excess of the legal limit.

In a statement released on Friday afternoon, the club said it decided to stand him down after "taking into consideration that it was not his first driving offence in recent years".

When you add to this Haas and the weird family incident, and Fifita assaulting that guy in Bali, you gotta start wondering who the Bonkos have minding their young forwards, Julian O'neil?

I wouldn't of even heard of this incident if i didn't read about it earlier on the kennel.

James Graham watches and comments on a youtube video in Bulldogs HQ. Gets accused by Jayne Azzopardi for making sexual remarks towards her while she listens on a microphone 200m away. Its front page news.

Dogs get wild in a private function a few floors up and the world falls apart. Story of the off-season.

Yet a Bronco drink drives and it's completely swept under the rug. How's that bringing the game into disrepute logic work again Greenturd?

It isn't really drink driving, he was just caught sleeping in his car while drunk lol.

Just like Graham wasn't really making crude sexual remarks to that journalist. The news ltd owned Broncos image will always be the highest priority for the nrl. Certain key demographic clubs are shown a completely different attitude by both the nrl and media

Gotta be more to it than that.
Maybe he was seen/reported driving while pissed and then when he knew the jig was up, quickly pulled over and pretended to be sleeping. I've never heard of anyone just minding their own business sleeping off a pissy session in their car and the cops actually charging them for it. Maybe he mouthed off to the coppers or something? Seems like there is more to it TBH.

It did get a fair bit of airplay here in Brisbane, as in, led news bulletins, talked anout on triple m sports shoes etc.

Also, he was basically taking a nap to sleep off the grog. Although illegal as he was in drivers seat and therefore in control of the vehicle, it seemed to be nothing major and two weeks was about right tbh.

Fair enough, I just wanna have some consistency in the way clubs are viewed and treated. The obvious 4 golden child ones of rorters souths groncos and Melb trigger me beyond belief. These clubs have so much extra pull in the world it's not funny

It's the Donkeys so I really don't care much, but did he drive there and then stop for a sleep? Or was the car already parked there and he just jumped in and took a nap?
Isn't that his 3rd offence, I seem to recall he was caught cheating at a casino a couple of years ago and then last year he was caught driving without a license. Sounds a bit too self entitled for his own good.

Couldn’t care less if it’s not doggies news. Good luck to the horses.
